My Camera and I

    I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! This week has been such a crazy one for my family and I because we're currently in Maryland visiting my sister and her family for my nephew's birthday and baptism (into our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints). I am truly happy for my nephew and can't wait until tomorrow when he will be baptized and confirmed a member of our church.
    On another note, I recently received my first dslr camera, a Canon Eos Rebel T3i! A year or so ago I realized I really enjoyed taking pictures (I had previously been taking and editing photos on my iPhone) and so as a graduation gift my parents got me a camera! I'm completely in love with it (even though all of the features are completely overwhelming haha). I hope to take a photoshop and photography class in college so I can improve my photo-taking skills. ;) As of right now, I'm just taking photos for my own enjoyment and I edit them using Picasa! I think photos are such a neat and artistic way to document your life and that's what I love about it. I'm so glad I was finally able to discover a hobby and I hope to keep up with this hobby as the years go by.
