Feeling empty inside

Well, my date on Monday was fantastic and I just wish I could replay all of what happened on the date over again. We went and saw a movie (The Wolverine...you all should go see it!), went bowling, got Five Guys, went ice skating/rock climbing, went jet skiing and picked blackberries. All throughout that day we were being so crazy and silly and it was just wonderful. I seriously am gonna miss my friend so much. It's hard having long distance friends. Seriously. I mean he lives all the way in Texas! All I know, is that that date was honestly the best date I've ever been on and it's gonna be really hard to outdo it. My future husband is gonna have to work real hard to outdo that date ;) Anyways, I hope y'all have been having a great start to your week! I know I have, other than the fact I'm really missing my friend (he leaves today) and I'm really missing Monday. Toodles! xoxo

Here's a picture of my friend, Zane, and I! So grateful to know him! Definitely a good friend :)

On Friday I had an absolutely splendid day with my good pal, Cassie. Check out her blog here! We rode our bikes in this lovely field, took pictures, and went and saw World War Z (which was really good, except for when the screen went black and we missed like 15 minutes of the movie...I'd still recommend it though haha). We always have such a fun time together. Taking pictures of ourselves was quite the challenge because taking selfies is just an awkward thing. Let's be honest here. We still got in some good shots though (even though we couldn't help but laugh in most of them). Cheers! xoxo

All I can say is I truly do adore nature and the beauty of it! I love taking pictures of the nature that surrounds us because it truly is so beautiful and we are immensely blessed to live on this earth that is full of such beautiful things. I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! Tomorrow I'm going on a date with one of my friends from Texas and I'm pretty stoked. I hope it goes well! I'm pretty excited <3

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be, speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

I was recently listening to the song "Let It Be" by The Beatles and it really inspired me to realize how important it is to let things go. I have a problem with holding onto things and staying mad at someone for a long period of time instead of just letting it go. It only makes things worse if you don't let things go. This is something I want to begin to learn and understand and even though it won't be easy for me, it's something important I need to work on. Happy Wednesday! :) xoxo

I like cats. A lot.

So, the title of my post basically explains it all. I love cats. I love every kind of cat. You see where I'm going with this, right? ;) (see here). I was so excited when I recieved my kitty shirt from Hello Apparel (check this site) out. It's one of my favorite tees I own now and it goes with, like, everything which is fantabulous. I also love dogs a lot too. I love furry four-legged creatures...what can I say? :) Anywho...today was fabulous! I went shopping with one of my best friends, Madi, and we had a successful day! We found oodles and oodles of cute things. Maybe tomorrow or something I'll post all of the things I got (minus the undergarments I bought...because, well, that would be way awkward ;) ). Ciao xoxo

Vinyl Love

Simon and Garfunkel vinyl: Endangered Species-The Last Record Store On Earth

Sooo I finally made my first outfit post! Using a tripod is not an easy task I must say, but I'm sure       with practice I'll figure it out. I want to try and do some outfit posts outside amidst mother nature     eventually. ;) Anywho, I finally found the oh-so-lovely Target sandals that everyone seems to own and they were only $8! Such a bargain and so cute. I'm completely in love. :) I'm finally back in Washington though and it's so nice to be back. I have a few weeks left until I leave for Utah for school and I wish it weren't so soon. :/ Like, I'm way excited for college, but I'm really gonna miss home and my parents and friends and pets. It's gonna be hard. But, college is the next step in my life and I'm looking forward to all the fun memories that are to come in the future. :)
If you'll notice in my outfit post I'm holding a Simon and Garfunkel vinyl and I got it for only $4 when I was in Delaware, Ohio. It was a pretty great deal, plus Simon and Garfunkel are so lovely to listen to. My favorite song of their's so far would probably have to be Cecilia or Baby Driver, but the whole album was fantastic. Anyways, I better be heading to bed since tomorrow I'm going shopping with one of my best friends, Madi. Can't wait! Toodles. xoxo

Hot Hot Hot

Well my last few days in Ohio have been well spent! Yesterday we headed down to the Columbus Zoo (pictures below) in 91 degree weather, but it was worth it for the few hours we were there. We were able to ride many of the rides at their small amusement park they have there (Jungle Jack's Landing). We had a little mishap happen though. One of the rides is a log ride where you get wet and it kept breaking down. At the end of our day at the zoo they finally opened up the ride (yay), but after going down one of the two hills, everyone on the log ride had to evacuate because it had broken down again. :( At least we were able to cool ourselves down a little bit by going down one of the hills haha. Aside from the many rides we enjoyed, we went to the petting zoo and pet some of the cute goats they had in there. We also rode a little train which was super fun (and the guy driving it was pretty attractive ;) Gotta love a man in Ray-Bans ;) ). After the train ride we ended the day by looking at the polar bears and brown bears! The polar bears were so cute (even though they can be such vicious creatures). I seriously would go up and give one a hug if I could haha. Same with the brown bears! I felt so bad for the animals because it was such a hot day, but luckily the polar bears were able to keep cool in the water and the bears were taking a nap in their cave, so I think they found a way to stay nice and cool. I wish we could have seen more animals but it was so hot and uncomfortable to walk around because it was so hot and humid. As mentioned above, below are the photos from the zoo. I unfortunately didn't take any pictures of animals at the zoo, which is ironic because you'd think that's what most of the pictures would be of. Silly me ;)

Gotta love a statue of my favorite noodle ;)

Today my sister-in-law, nephew and myself were able to complete a Waldo scavenger hunt in Delaware, Ohio (where they live). Many of the local businesses participate in this local event. Basically all you do is go to the stores that are participating in the scavenger hunt and look for Waldo in those stores and get your passport signed by the store owner. After you find all 25 Waldos, you turn in your passport and you are eligible for some fun prizes! It's a really neat idea that allows you to explore Delaware and go into shops you may not have gotten a chance to visit otherwise.  The downtown area is so awesome and has lots of neat shops. We were able to find a tasty butterscotch root beer (tasted a lot like butter beer! yum!) and I was able to score a $4 Simon and Garfunkel Vinyl at a really neat record store. We then ended the day with some Italian ice at Rocky's! I got tangerine cream and it was delicious! All in all it was a really great day and I'm glad I was able to end my trip in Ohio on a good note! Off to Utah tomorrow for my one day orientation at Utah State. Ciao!

This place has super yummy custard! I tried their new flavor, Almond Joy (and I hate the candy bar), but the flavor was soo delicious.

Apparently Mitt Romney visited this restaurant! How cool would it have been to have been there when he visited?!

I loved this stuff better than shaved ice!
